Either way my girl, Kris, told me she went, told me her deals so you know I had to check this out for myself! There were a lot of reviews of people saying they couldn't find anything, it wasn't worth it etc. etc. BUT if you're like me and LOVE a good deal, a couple hours scavenging through racks and racks of cheap American Apparel apparel is wayyy worth it!

Sibling Rivalry

Painted the town red one Friday night and enjoyed the company of my brother and cousins. Funny, as we were leaving we decided to take pictures and saw how different the personalities of our families run. Either way, we were looking sharp that night and succeeded in having a blast that night (of which I totally paid for the next day ;[ ).

Halloweeney from Teeney

Hope you all had a wonderful Halloweeney!

Totally sucked that Halloween landed on a Monday this year, but whaddayaaknow it all worked out! I needed two costumes this year and was lucky enough to make one and find one for a steal just a couple days before (score!!).

I thought to do Rosie the Riveter as my DIY costume, it's somewhat original and pretty easy to do given the appropriate pieces (oh and swag too ;])

Now, as we were walking through the mall Saturday with the rest of a crowd savaging for last minute Halloween party attire, I stumbled upon this beauty! Luckily for me Hot Topic had costumes on sale 20%- 75% off! Thus the last XS of Strawberry Shortcake came into play!

Used to be.

I used to be that girl that would get her nails done every other week, different designs, new colors, new set, the works! But... times have changed and in addition to the brutality it placed on my nails... it set a dent in my budget as well. Since then... I have pulled my inner artiste and started doing them myself :]

Here are some I've done that past month.

Purse- onal

I usually use an overbearingly too- big- for my own oversized large purse (which usually gets mistaken as a hand carry, or laughed at with how it's comparable to my petite size). I decided to switch it up and downsize. I've been using this Vintage Ferragamo Crossbody Bag and carry just these essentials with me. Amazing what else you can find to put in a bigger purse though!

Le sighhh... this weather and all these natural disasters can really bring a girl down! I haven't mentioned it, but I am extremely devastated and praying for all those affected by everything that's happening all around the world.
"Can't we all just get along??..."
Well, aside from all that.... its finally Friday!! Things I've thought about on this over cast gray day.

- I miss getting my nails done
(But then again, I hate when my nails get all brittle and messed up from the acrylic)
- I miss dressing up for Spring and getting ready for Summer
(I've been layering and stuck in tights/ minis/ boots/ jeans and sweaters for wayyyy too long)
- I don't really have anything really planned this weekend...
(Hopefully that doesn't mean I won't have any outfits to share with you all!... we shall see!)

Long Hair Don't Care

In case you haven't already noticed in the more recent posts... Yes, I got extensions!! Well I've been meaning to grow out my hair and hoped that by my birthday it would've been a decent length. But to no avail, it was a fail and thus the extensions came to place. I loveee them! It's pretty fun playing with them, gonna suck when I take them out in a couple weeks! Anywhoo... carry on!

Q&A

Happy Fridayyy!!! Thought to share some information to all my lovely readers out there <3. First and foremost a big Thank You for reading and joining in my life of what I call Fashion Fun!
Second. I've gotten a couple questions on what type of camera I use...

Ta Daaaa!!! I honestly don't know what kind of camera it is... I know it's a Kodak of some sort. Honestly, my dad thought this camera broke and forgot about it. I needed a camera (so as to start this blog!) and thought to play with it!... Whadayaknow... it works! My description of it? A Hybrid between an SLR and a Point and Shoot. I'm not too good at the settings nor am I at editing photos, or even knowing what kind of camera it is...so what you see is what you get! Vague, yeah I know... sorry!
Third. My pictures are taken by a variety of people. The Boy helps me a majority of the time (Thanks babe!) Jam and I like to take them whenever we're together. Marbs, because she's thee bestest friend a girl could ask for... and even Reese my co-worker who normally takes pictures of food, has helped me out before too! Thanks ya'll!
