Given a break.

 Although Fall has fallen among us and we've had our share of chilly weather, the Sun and warm weather still show us some love by giving us a break with some Sun & Warmth. Thus was the case this past weekend =) My go to outfit for a day like this: bandeau and thrifted vintage skirt to get some ice cream before heading out for a BBQ bday and evening Costume Party (pics coming soon!)

Reminiscing of warner days

This dreary + confusing weather has got me reminiscing of warmer summer days. I purchased these vintage high waisted Lee denim shorts some time ago and been meaning to destroy them (fashionably, of course). Due to my worrisome-ness... I was too chicken to have scissors touch these classic beauties! ::le sigh:: oh well! There's always next Spring! Knowing random Bay Area weather maybe we'll have a peak of sunshine before then  and hopefully I'll have a DIY for you guys =)

Found some time

Finally found some time to hit up the infamous Uniqlo that opened recently in DTSF. The clothes are def as everyone says they are in terms of prices, quality and an overall good deal. With that said, it's just not my cup of tea. I did score some jeans for a whoppin' $10! 

It was nice in the city so I opted to dress down this vintage skirt I got at my friends store (31 Rax) with a loose tank and wear my Lamb wedges that seem to go with just about everything I've been wearing at the moment.

There was a point in time when I would only thrift for sweaters, guess that's the BayArea for yah! Anywhoo, I came upon this lovely sweater and fell in love with its all over gray jungle-esque print. I further fell in love with the sequin beading on the front. Couldn't take a picture of the whole fit, but this sweater's details are way more lovable anyway =]

So here I am, b o r e d. Funny, because when I find myself in this predicament... I usually turn to my bros. And since neither of them were in their room.... I decided to play in it and take pics! Lost and Found

Soo... as you all know I'm on the hunt for a Vintage Gucci bag for my birthday. Today during my lunch on of of my daily thriftings.... DingDingDing!! To my surprise, within their display case there lay a beautiful deep rouge of a purse- a Vintage Gucci. Chuck was with me and being the lovely guy that he is, gave me my 1st birthday present (a month early!)

Soo.... I totally know these shoes were meant to be for me. But the thing is they (the shoes themselves) think they weren't meant for me. I tend to forget that although I have petite feet, a vintage size is not quite the same as our modern day sizes. Wack!

New Year Vintage
