Backyard Pier

On this lovely day just wanted to share my backyard pier with all of you. Okay, well it's not my backyard per se... but with just a quick drive down a windy road in 5 minutes et voila you're there! It's nice to know that there are such cutesie places such as this pier so close by. Definitely a good place to run with the pup, check the waves crash and grab a white mocha at the cafe on the pier. What cutesie places do you guys enjoy going to?

Pep in my step

I must admit, I'm a bit late to the Peplum Party. It was a style I seemed to be hesitant of from the get go. I didn't understand how there was a skirt like poof in the middle of my body as opposed to on my legs as a skirt. But after some time and some inspiration, it all sunk in. And after I was given this very lovely peplum top, it got me thinking otherwise. 

This trimmed Ponte Peplum top from AX has definitely got me changing my mind. With the two tone textures the fit, and the versatility of this piece I def felt that pep in my step.
