Given a break.

 Although Fall has fallen among us and we've had our share of chilly weather, the Sun and warm weather still show us some love by giving us a break with some Sun & Warmth. Thus was the case this past weekend =) My go to outfit for a day like this: bandeau and thrifted vintage skirt to get some ice cream before heading out for a BBQ bday and evening Costume Party (pics coming soon!)

This time some time ago..

Looking at everyone's posts and pics from either their current Halloween digs and Halloween's really got me thinking. It got me thinking that I've had a pretty good run in dressing up for Halloween! Usually around this time I would have come up with something(s) to wear and have a place(s) to go to, and now thinking about it for this year, nothing.  

For the party I have this evening I'm hoping the pressure will lead to a more creative outlet in a cheap yet fun costume. Wish me luck!

Reminiscing of warner days

This dreary + confusing weather has got me reminiscing of warmer summer days. I purchased these vintage high waisted Lee denim shorts some time ago and been meaning to destroy them (fashionably, of course). Due to my worrisome-ness... I was too chicken to have scissors touch these classic beauties! ::le sigh:: oh well! There's always next Spring! Knowing random Bay Area weather maybe we'll have a peak of sunshine before then  and hopefully I'll have a DIY for you guys =)

Note to self.

And just when I was getting accustomed to dressing for only slightly chilly weather... the rains comes! Note to self: start piling on the layers of cardis, tights, scarves and bust out the boots asap! I can't front, gotta love this weather, it's typical SF weather and it's just a reminder that the holidays are coming! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend =)
